What we are doing:
We have created a web device designed to aid people in fulfilling a specific sexual fantasy. That fantasy is sex or sexual contact on airplanes. This site allows users to create profiles and from that point search, browse and create posts directly linked to meeting on aircraft for sexual encounters. We will use airline seating graphics and color codes to establish activity preference. Our site is purposefully limited in the interest of preventing drawn out electronic relationships that do not result in actual meetings. There will also be a wiki section of the site devoted to developing and maintaining a social rule structure for the in-flight encounters.
Why we are doing what we are doing:
We feel that while technology has immense potential to connect us, the ultimate outcome is often the opposite. Social networking sites such as myspace and facebook, allow for enormous webs of social connection often limited in communication and restricted to an electronic interface and minimal physical activity. In effect we feel there is a larger sense of isolation then there has been in recent times. Ultimately we feel that while there is an increased ability to search for similarities, not much is accomplished with the accumulated data. People are lonely and when they do meet it is under the auspices of something like a dating service or job interview. While there are certainly exceptions, we want to create an active community based on curiosity, sexual fantasy, travel, and ultimately the act of meeting.
We would like to create a simple community based on a viral, legendary, and somewhat universal, sexual fantasy. Here we want to work to encourage a meeting of strangers. Being registered in Iran, well, that is just extra.
